Balavidyalaya Institute for Teacher Training offers a Diploma in Teaching Young Hearing Impaired (DTYHI). The Rehabilitation Council of India recognizes the diploma. The course duration is one academic year, commencing every first Monday of June. Trained teachers in general education like B.Ed, and D.Ed as well as H.Sc., with training in any one of the early childhood education courses like Montessori, Kindergarten, Nursery or Preprimary are eligible.
 
 
The Rehabilitation Council of India has accredited 'BALAVIDYALAYA INSTITUTE FOR TEACHER TRAINING' with EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE RATING.

The training equips the trainee to help infants and young children from birth to five years, to make use of the residual hearing and develop speech and language skills and join the regular education. Parent counseling and parent guidance is an important area covered in the training.

No fee is charged for the training.
