Dec 1969: Inception of the School with Mrs. Menaka Parthasarathy as Prinicipal and Mrs. Saraswathi Narayanaswamy as Headmistress.
     
Oct 1970: K. Preetha aged 14 months is admitted into the school-The youngest child in school during the year.
 
 
June 1972: 1st student P.Sudha is integrated into Normal stream of education.
 
June 1974: Teacher Training in Pre-school Deaf started.
 
Oct 1974: Parent Teacher Association of the school is formed.
 
June 1977: Tamil Medium is inaugurated.
 
Feb 1980: The Srinivasan Parthasarathy Trust" - The management body of the school is constituted.
 
Feb 1980: Seminar on "Education of the Hearing- Impaired" and Exhibition of Teaching Materials held in connection with the Decennial Celebrations of the School.
 
Jan 1983: Ms. Sonja Reichhart, Post Graduate student from University of Heidelberg joined for a term of 'Practice Teaching".
 
Feb 1984: "Breaking the Silence"- handbook for Teachers of the Hearing -Impaired, approved and financed by the National Council for Education Research and Training, New Delhi- published by the School.
 
Feb 1985: Seminar on Pre-School Education of the Deaf held in connection with the15th Anniversary of the school.
 
April 1987: 1st student of the school P.Sudha qualifies as B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Printing Technology at Anna University Madras.
 
April 1988: Smt Rajendra Kumari Vajpai, the Union Minister for Welfare, Government of India visits the School.
 
June 1989: The School moves into it's the new premises at Shastri Nagar.
 
Feb 1990: The 20th Anniversary of the School.A National Seminar on "Integration of Deaf Children into the Mainstream through pre-School Training" is conducted.
     
July 1990: Centenary Celebrations of Alexander Graham Bell Association International Convention at Washington D.C., U.S.A. The Principal Mrs. Saraswathi Narayanaswamy presents a paper on "Early Language Development in Deaf Children through Informal Inputs".
 
April 1992: K.Preetha a former student qualifies as Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.from Anna University Madras.
     
May 1992: Susan Itoop, a former student qualifies as Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Delhi School of Architecture.
 
Aug 1992: S.Sathish an old student of the school qualifies himself as a C.A. (Chartered Accountant), A.C.S. (Association of Company Secretary) I.C.W.A. (Institute of Cost and works Accountants)
     
   
     
Dec 1992: The School gets a Building Grant of Rs. 5,00,000/- from the Ministry of Welfare, Government of India.
 
July 1993: V.Ramya a former student qualifies as I.C.W.A (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants)
     
   
 
Aug 1993: The principal of the school was nominated as a member of the Executive Council of the National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped under the Ministry of Welfare.
 
Dec 1993: The new Building of the school was inaugurated.
