|
| Children from birth to 2½ years are
admitted into the Early Intervention programme. |
| Children are admitted into the school throughout the
year. They are admitted irrespective of their caste and creed. |

| Medium of Instruction |
Teaching is in English and
Tamil. It is imperative that parents are fluent in the language chosen
for the child.
The parents who are not fluent in English or Tamil
are helped to teach their children in their mother tongue.

| Duration of the Course |
Each child develops the potential
at his/her own pace. Children are assessed periodically at school,
to enable them to progress smoothly. The duration of the training
at school usually ranges from 3 to 5 years, depending upon the child
intelligence, residual hearing, aptitude and the ability of the parents.
The child leaves the school at the age of 5 or 6 years to join a regular
school at 1st or 2nd standard. |
