  Cost of educating one child in the Early Intervention Programme:
  During the year 2001-2002, BALAVIDYALAYA has spent Rs.6,300/- (Rupees six thousand three hundred only) per child for the whole year.

Depending upon the various factors that decide the progress of the children, the duration a child spends in Balavidyalaya ranges from 3 to 5 years before he moves to a regular school. This means an expense of Rs.18,900/- to Rs.31,500/- is spent on a child, to prepare him to join the regular education.
   
  REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
  The Trust appeals to the philanthropic minded firms and individuals to help us by donating liberally, so that we can run our school BALA VIDYALAYA, successfully. We require help for the following:
   
 
• To pay salary to teachers - Rs.60, 000/- per teacher, per annum.
 
• To strengthen the library for children, parents and teachers. Being a school, specialising in educating babies and young children, specific books in the area are required, which are normally not available in the outside libraries.
 
• To build up a corpus fund to enable smooth and regular working of the school Charitable Institutions can function effectively on a continuous basis only when the Corpus fund is able to meet the day to day working expenses.
 
• To purchase the adjoining land of the school costing around Rs. 60 Lakhs. This will enable the school to have more classrooms.
 
• To develop Special Educational Aids and materials for parent empowerment.
 
• To provide free hearing aids to all deserving children.
 
• To conduct workshops for parents of hearing-impaired children - Rs.50,000/- per workshop.
   
  HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN CAN BE HELPED TO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND SPEECH. THEY CAN GET INTEGRATED INTO THE MAINSTREAM OF SOCIETY AND BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT.
