Programmes

Early Intervention Program

Admission for children from birth to 3 years is given in the Early Intervention programme. The children attend the Programme from 9 am to 10 am Monday through Friday.

One parent of the child attends the classes along with the child, as the school strongly believes that the parents are the first educators in the child’s life and they are equal partners of the teachers at school, in fostering the child’s progress. The parents are shown ways and means to utilize the everyday situations and activities at home, towards developing language and speech skills in the child.

In cases where both the parents are not able to be the caregiver a relative of the child like a grand parent or aunt takes the role of the caregiver.

Once the children complete the Early Intervention programme they are moved to the pre school programme. The age of the children in the pre school programme ranges from 2 ½ to 6 years. There is no direct admission into Pre-school. Pre School functions from 10.30 a.m to 3.00 p.m – Monday through Thursday and 10.30 to 12.30 on Friday
